Layah Kranz Lipsker is a Boston based Jewish educator, providing thoughtful and interactive learning experiences for adults and teens.  Educated in a Hassidic community, Layah’s spiritual journey has been informed by her search for a meaningful faith, her commitment to feminism and pluralism, and her passion for Israel. Layah currently teaches for Kevah, Hebrew College, the Jewish Learning Institute, and the Jewish Renaissance Project.  A research associate at the Hadassah Brandeis Institute since 2012, Layah is working on research and support around Jewish divorce and is a member of the newly established Boston Agunah Taskforce.  She is a team member at the Boston Rabbinical Court and creator of www.getyourget.com.  Layah also leads educational trips to Israel for women, with a focus on spiritual and personal growth.  She lives in Swampsoctt, MA, with her husband and six children.
