Enjoy a romp through the stories of the Haftorah readings from the books of the Jewish prophets. What drove King David, Soloman and others, and how did our people respond to them?

Layah Kranz Lipsker is a Boston based Jewish educator, providing thoughtful and interactive learning experiences for adults and teens.  Educated in a Hassidic community, Layah’s spiritual journey has been informed by her search for a meaningful faith, her commitment to feminism and pluralism, and her passion for Israel. Layah currently teaches for Kevah, Hebrew College, the Jewish Learning Institute, and the Jewish Renaissance Project.  A research associate at the Hadassah Brandeis Institute since 2012, Layah is working on research and support around Jewish divorce and is a member of the newly established Boston Agunah Taskforce.  She is a team member at the Boston Rabbinical Court and creator of ; Layah also leads educational trips to Israel for women, with a focus on spiritual and personal growth.  She lives in Swampsoctt, MA, with her husband and six children.
