Young Professionals: Jew-Good Community Service

Get dirty with the Young Professionals @ the Vilna Shul and JCAM (Jewish Cemetery of Massachusetts)! Not interested in raking, planting, and sweeping? Help us inventory the headstones and figure out the who/what/ where in the cemetery. Give back to the Jewish community by contributing to the restoration and renovation of this historic Jewish cemetery, and learn about its importance in Boston Jewish history. Please bring trovels, rakes, brooms, pens, paper. 

Do good. Spark conversation. Learn from others. Schmooze and Jews brings young adults together to experience the vibrant cultural activities of Boston and give back to the city.

This program is at Ohavi Sedeck Cemetery at 350 Grove Street, West Roxbury. From the Forest Hills MBTA Station (Orange Line), take the 34, 34E, and 35 bus line to the Washington Street at Grove Street bus stop (34/34E) or the Stimson Street at Washington Street bus stop (35). Street parking available. 

This is a young adult program. Please only register if you are in your 20's or 30's.
