Mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day at The Vilna. Join us for an afternoon of film, photography, and much needed community conversation.
This program will begin with a curated tour with the artist of our temporary art exhibit entitled Looming in the Shadows of Lodz, followed by a powerful screening and discussion of the film, Who Will Write Our History?. This 40-minute documentary tells the story of a remarkable collection of artifacts that were hidden and preserved by prisoners in the Warsaw Ghetto.
The event is co-sponsored by Facing History and Ourselves and is offered in partnership with the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston, Boston 3G, the American Association of Jewish Holocaust Survivors. We are also pleased to welcome members of the Armenian and Cambodian communities who will be joining us for this important community event.
