Our speaker this month is Dr. Osnat Levtzion-Korach, a physician at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem who is currently on a three-year fellowship in Boston.  When in Jerusalem, she serves as the assistant to the director general of Hadassah Hospital. Her talk will explore Hadassah Hospital’s unique space amidst Arab-Israeli tensions and how cutting-edge health care programs are helping to promote peaceful coexistence. She was slated to speak this past January, but had to cancel at the last minute when her mother passed away. We are delighted to welcome her back this month.

The service will be followed by a light kosher Shabbat dinner. Havurah on the Hill asks attendees to make an $18 donation to help support the restoration of Boston’s only remaining immigrant-era shul and future events.

One of HOH’s greatest strengths is the diversity of our programs. The vast majority of our service leaders and speakers are drawn directly from our community. If you or anyone you know are interested in leading services or speaking at an event, please email sjfagen@gmail.com. We are also always looking for volunteers to help at events and work with Council members on various projects. If you’re interested in getting involved, please email maya@vilnashul.com.
