CJP hosts a book series each spring, and the Vilna is thrilled to be hosting one of the gatherings! Our group will take place in a private home in the Back Bay. Together, we’ll enjoy good books and fun conversation on cozy winter nights. This spring, the featured author is none other than Jenna Blum, who appeared at a Vilna program last May! At each of the sessions below, we will discuss the book listed.
Each book group will read Jenna Blum’s historical fiction novels The Lost Family and Those Who Save Us. We'll prepare volunteer leaders to guide you in meaningful conversations about the books and how they relate to Judaism and our Jewish community — locally and around the world.
The small groups will meet twice at the homes of volunteers throughout the community; then, Jenna will join us in person for a celebratory reception and author discussion.
Don’t miss this chance to build new relationships, read some page-turners, and explore more about your own Jewish journey through engaging conversation.
