Each participating household is asked to contribute to Jewish life and culture in downtown Boston for everyone by making a minimum gift of $1,800 to the Vilna Shul’s 2018 Annual Campaign.

Scholar in Residence: Jacek Nowakowski, Senior Curator, National Institute for Holocaust Documentation
Jacek Nowakowski was born in Krakow, Poland and is the child of a Holocaust survivor. He emigrated to the United States, where he became the Director and Chief Curator of the Museum of the Polish Museum of America. Jacek later moved to Washington DC, becoming the Director of Collections and Acquisitions at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, where he was closely involved in the implementation, design, and building of the Museum's main permanent exhibition. He is frequently asked for expert advice for many Holocaust and museum related projects both in the US and overseas.
