THIS EVENT IS NOT AT THE VILNA SHUL BUT AT TOURO SYNAGOGUE IN NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND.

Following on the huge success of the April program with historian and chair of the Touro Synagogue Foundation, Keith Stokes, The Vilna Shul will visit the oldest surviving synagogue building in the United States, located in Newport, RI. Keith is also a direct descendant of the Touro founders and will offer some great insight into the history of the synagogue and area.

Join us for a private tour of the Touro Synagogue and historic cemetery. Keith will accompany the tour guide and provide additional details regarding the synagogue and then lead us on a private tour of the cemetery, which is rarely opened to the public.

At this time, you can register to take the bus from Boston or Newton and the tour for $25. Please note that this does not include lunch, as the lunch order has already been placed. If you would like provide your own transportation and meet us in Newport, the tour will be $10; please note that this does not include lunch.
