Passover is coming!
Get your kids (ages 0-5) ready for the holiday with CJP/JArts Community Creative Fellow AJ Rubin. AJ is a vaudevillian star with tons of tricks up his sleeve for your littles. Enjoy bagels and coffee and the company of other sleep-deprived Boston parents. We’ll give you a party to remember and get you home in time for naps.
This program is made possible by the Lee L. And Judith E. Selwyn Foundation.
AJ Rubin (They/Them) is a Boston based musician, circus artist, and band leader from Portland, OR.
AJ graduated from Berklee College of Music on full scholarship and has performed at globally renowned festivals and with Grammy award winning artists. Their project, The Klezmer Klub, mixes genres of Jewish folk and global contemporary music and promotes shared cultural learning through art. Their 1920’s-30’s dance band, AJ Rubin and The Ghost Notes, engages dancers with unique takes on early swing dance music. Combining vintage vaudevillian charm with modern values, AJ strives to have every performance inspire joy, gratitude, and community conversation.
