This March, Havurah on the Hill at Vilna Shul presents our annual Purim Party, Harry Purim and the Scroll of Esther!

All of your questions will be answered, like:
Who cast the first curse, Mordechai or Haman?
Was Mordechai a member of Dumbledore’s Army?
Did Esther work for the Order of the Phoenix?
Was Haman a Slytherin? Or even a Death Eater?

Costumes Encouraged. Cash or Credit Accepted
House Elves drink free and Death Eaters pay double.*
Madam Malkin’s Costume contest at 8:00PM!

Schedule:
6:45PM – Creative Megillah reading featuring a raucous mix of skits, spiels, parodies, and traditional Hebrew chanting.
8:00PM – Costume Contest with prizes!
8:15 PM: Party! (until 11PM) Featuring an awesome DJ, dancing, bar, HP themed signature cocktails, magical food, raffle for charity, an Accio selfie station and copious amounts of hamentashen!

Getting to the Vilna Shul:
$5 validated parking will be available for this event at the Charles River Garage (165 Cambridge Street). Validation is only good inside the Charles River Plaza Parking Garage next to the Au Bon Pain and The Wyndham Hotel (formerly the Holiday Inn) on 209 Cambridge Street, NOT in the surface lot in front of the Whole Foods. Look for the garage entrance near the intersection of Cambridge St. and Blossom St. The garage is underground and you will receive a green ticket. The Vilna Shul is also easily accessible by public transportation. Take the MBTA Red Line to Charles/MGH. More About Havurah on the Hill
Havurah on the Hill is a non-denominational, egalitarian minyan for Jews in their 20s and 30s in the Boston area. HOH meets at the Vilna Shul on Beacon Hill, the last remaining immigrant-era synagogue building in downtown Boston, and hosts monthly Kabbalat Shabbat services as well as other special holiday celebrations throughout the year.

*Everyone will be charged the same for drinks, no matter the costume.
