Welcome, Shabbat with young adults across Boston and beyond! Led by young adults across the community, this program will include Kiddush, Motzi, and candle lighting as we reflect on the previous week together.
Do you want to support the Boston community during this turbulent time but don't know where to begin? Join us for our creative Friday evening service will be in collaboration with Repair the World Boston, a Jewish organization that engages young adults in social change around education and food justice. We will reflect on food injustice, learn through the lens of Shabbat, and create change, together.
Katie Hamelburg is the Boston City Coordinator for Repair the World and is building out Repair’s Serve the Moment program in Boston. She's been passionate about service-learning and creating social change ever since she can remember - social justice has been her way of connecting to Judaism and bringing Jewish values to everyday life. She's particularly passionate about education inequality and creating meaningful and impactful service experiences.
In partnership with Repair the World.
