This August, join Havurah on the Hill as we hear from Waltham Popcorn owner Miriam Cohen Franzen. Miriam is delighted to share her experience operating Waltham Popcorn, a kosher gourmet popcorn shop where she pops, flavors, and packages all her popcorn on site. Before popping tasty treats full time, Miriam worked in finance and synagogue administration for several years. Drop by to hear Miriam share more about her journey to becoming a small business owner and the challenges of maintaining a kashrut food establishment.
Guests can even get a taste of Waltham Popcorn themselves as these delicious (and kosher) popcorn treats will be available for sampling!

The Vilna Shul offers free parking with validation for Havurah on the Hill Friday night services. Parking validation is only good for the garage at the Charles River Plaza/Cambridge Street Garage at 165 Cambridge Street. This garage is between the Charles River Plaza Shopping Center (Whole Foods) and AU Bon Pain, and across from the Starbucks, near the intersection of Blosson Street and Cambridge Street. DO NOT ENTER THE WHOLE FOODS LOT - THE VILNA DOES NOT VALIDATE FOR THAT LOT. You will receive a green ticket upon entry. Any other color tickets cannot be validated.
