Holiday Programming for Families with Young Children
Sing, dance, and play your way into the new year with musician and song leader extraordinaire, Evan Haller founder of Music at The Blissful! Our holiday programming is geared towards families with children ages 0-5. Older siblings and grandparents are welcome to attend! This program will be held on our outdoor patio.

Tour of The Vilna Shul
After the conclusion of services on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, join us for a tour of Boston’s last remaining immigrant era synagogue. We will learn more about the rich history of Boston’s Jewish community and the art and architecture of this historic building.

Meditation and Mindfulness Series
Set your intention for the year ahead. We will gather on the second day of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur for guided meditation and mindfulness. This program is designed to offer a quiet moment of reflection as you prepare for a new year.

Adult Learning Series
Looking for an opportunity to learn and discuss two central biblical stories we retell at the High Holidays? Join us for a two-part series to explore the stories of the binding of Isaac and Jonah and the whale.

Rosh Hashanah (Second Day): "Don't Be Caught Napping" - The Spiritual Significance of the Near-Sacrifice of Isaac
Yom Kippur: "The Impatient Prophet and God’s Mercy” – Jonah’s Frustration with God’s Pardoning of Nineveh.

Covid-19 Policies

The Vilna has reinstated a mask mandate, regardless of vaccination status, and will no longer be offering food/drinks at indoor events. All in-person programs will be capped at a reduced capacity. We will continue to monitor the situation and share updates on our Safety and Accessibility page.
