About Gal Jaakobi

Beginning her career in hi-tech after a 3-year military service, Gal Jaacobi chose a life of public service, wanting her life to have more meaning and a positive impact on the world. She is currently a "mid-career" student at the Harvard Kennedy school where she pursues a second master’s degree in public administration. Gal started her public career at the Civil Service Cadet program, an elite program for government civil servants. At the Employment and Diversity Administration in the Ministry of Economy, Gal promoted Arab Sector employment, the division she has managed for the past three years. Before being a manager, Gal advanced diverse population employment for five years. Annually, Gal manages a 120 million NIS budget and sets policies for projects promoting the employment of the Arab sector.
