Join the Vilna for our signature Happy Hour on the Hill networking event. This fabulous evening will feature food and drink in our historic building, as well as a panel featuring some amazing women entrepreneurs including Jessica Zelfand Munroe of Bumpboxes.com, Stephanie Kaplan Lewis of Her Campus Media, and Jennifer Bock of  McDermott, Will & Emery. Gail Hoffman of Golden Seeds investing firm is moderating the panel.

Jessica Munroe is an entrepreneur who has built her career on the power of maternal wellness! In 2013, she launched Supplet, a subscription box company that helped pregnant women and moms stay healthy and pampered. Supplet was in PayPal's Boston accelerator program in 2014 and was a winner in Boston's Brandathon's competition.  In 2017, Supplet was acquired by Bump Boxes, the #1 Pregnancy and mom subscription box company. Jessica now leads Employer and Hospital Partnerships for Bump Boxes. 

Jessica’s career journey has taken her from working at large financial companies to startups to mid size companies. She has led many successful (and a few unsuccessful) projects on launching natural products, healthy food services and health care services. She is a mentor and investor in several product companies. 

Jessica has an MBA from Boston College, a BSM from Tulane University and is a certified Pregnancy Coach through Dr. Sears.  

 

Stephanie Kaplan Lewis is the co-founder & CEO of Her Campus Media, the #1 media brand for college women and 360-degree college marketing agency, which she co-founded in 2009 as an undergraduate at Harvard University. Jennifer Bock focuses her practice on representing public, private and emerging companies and investors in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, finance, joint ventures, private equity investments and other business transactions. Jennifer has advised companies on corporate issues in a wide range of industries, including the technology, health/life sciences, industrial and energy industries.

Jennifer also advises companies on strategic business transactions such as the US expansion of non-US companies, and alliances such as licensing and collaborations involving the development of pharmaceutical, diagnostic and medical device products. 

Gail Hoffman is an active angel investor and mentor in the New England entrepreneurial ecosystem, sharing her expertise in finance and strategic planning.  She has spent her career advising businesses and non-profits, and was involved in a number of successful portfolio company acquisitions and divestitures, including Motown Records, The National Enquirer, and CPP/Belwin Entertainment.  

Gail is the past Operating Committee Chair for Golden Seeds New England, responsible for managing a membership-driven organization focused on new member growth, investment analysis, capital deployment, and investor education.  During her leadership membership grew over 50% and investment activity reached record levels.  Golden Seeds is one of the nation’s most active angel investment firms, and provides early-stage and growth capital to women-led businesses across all industry sectors.  She is also a member of Launchpad Venture Group, New England’s largest angel investment group and Wharton Angel Alumni Network.
