Join Layah Kranz Lipsker for a discussion of the newly released four part series on Netflix, ‘Unorthodox.’  Layah will discuss the Chassidic world of her childhood and answer questions about the authenticity of this series and others like it. Sure to be fascinating!

Unorthodox is a Netflix miniseries about a Hasidic Jewish woman from Brooklyn who flees to Berlin from an arranged marriage and is taken in by a group of musicians — until her past comes calling.

Layah is also teaching single session on May 7, 14 and 21 on the Kabbalah of Relationships. The familial stories of Genesis are the foundations of the Jewish people, but in Midrashic and Kaballistic thought, they represent more than just the history of our nation. Each story, taken out of its historical context, contains layers of meaning that can stir one's soul and deepen our bonds to others. Join us as we explore the journey through the Book of Genesis, with a unique and meaningful lens on spiritual growth.

Register for 1 session or all 4! Each session is designed as a stand-alone lecture. No prior knowledge is needed.
