This event is occuring despite the snow! See you at 10:00 AM at the Back Bay Events Center!

Chanukah in the City is back! Join other young families living in downtown Boston to celebrate with food, crafts, giveaways, and live music. We’re excited to welcome  Josh and Jamtones as musical entertainment, and Chanukah-themed craft activities run by the Vilna Shul, Boston's Center for Jewish Culture, the JCCs of Greater Boston, and Chabad of Downtown Boston.

This event is designed for children ages 0-12. Children ages 0-6 will participate in making menorahs, Chanukah candles from beeswax, and a sensory activity! Children ages 6-12 are invited to participate in a scrap metal menorah making workshop and will enjoy a special hot chocolate bar, just for the older kids!

Of course, what Chanukah event doesn't have latkes? There will be latkes galore with a make-your-own latke bar, complete with various toppings, and plenty of snacks for everyone. Dietary laws observed.

This program is made possible by generous donor support and by a collaboration of Vilna Shul, Boston's Center for Jewish Culture, CJP,  the Jewish Community Center of Greater Boston, PJ Library, and Chabad of Downtown Boston to create a vibrant event where families can reconnect with old friends and meet new ones in the Hub.

PLEASE NOTE: This event is at the Back Bay Events Center, 200 Berkeley Street, Boston.

Discount parking is available at the 100 Clarendon Garage, one block from the events center. Bring your parking ticket with you to get stamped.
