Join us for a private cooking class geared towards young professionals at Boston’s most exciting new bakery, Bakey. Bakey was founded during the pandemic by Israeli culinary icon Uri Scheft and is located at 151 Tremont Street facing Boston Commons. 

Meet at The Vilna for a welcome reception followed by a 10-minute walk to Bakey Bakery. The workshop will include a demonstration of challah dough preparation and braiding techniques with myriad decorative toppings. Each participant will get to take their challah home together with recipes and other baked goods.

About Uri Scheft

Uri Scheft is the creative force and co-owner of Breads Bakery in New York City, which gained an immediate cult following when it opened in 2014. Scheft also owns Tel Aviv's Lehamim Bakery, which has been in operation since 2001. Born in Israel to Danish parents, Scheft grew up in both Israel and Denmark and now divides his time between Israel and the United States. Born out of the founders’ passion for bread and sweet and savory pastries, and the desire to celebrate them at their very best.
