You bring the wine, we bring the history! We will delve into the art and science of wine appreciation and wine and food pairing, for their own interest value, and as a window to Jewish history and culture. Participants will be exposed to wines around the world and journey to Ancient Israel, Sephardic Europe and North Africa, the American West, and New Zealand. We scheduled the event to inspire you to celebrate St Patrick’s Day with an alternative to Guinness, and, most important, to enrich your experience of the Passover Seder, where wine plays a central role.
Participants do not need to purchase/drink wine to participate, but wine recommendations will be made for participants wishing to explore the regional wines while learning. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own wine prior to class. Click here to view the wine guide!
