Q: What do Shakespeare and Hebrew have in common?
A.: You can enjoy both in the same evening!
Join devoted volunteer and Vilna Advisory Board member Rabbi Sam Seicol for an evening of Shakespeare on the Common. While we wait for the show to start, Rabbi Sam will lead a mini Introduction to Hebrew class. No previous experience with Hebrew is needed. The class will start around 5pm, and the Shakespeare performance around 7:00pm. We will bring blankets to secure an area; if you want a chair, please bring your own. Please look for the "Learn to Read Hebrew" sign upon arrival. Registrants will also be sent an email with more specific instructions on meeting.
Shakespeare in the Park runs approximately 2.5 hours with intermission. The show is Love's Labour's Lost.
In Love’s Labour’s Lost, friendship and loyalty amongst four young men and four young women are put to the test when romantic youthful notions of love encounter the challenges of adulthood.
