Purim is a time for rejoicing, reflection and celebrating Jewish heritage and history.

Just in time for the feast of Esther, join the Vilna Shul community for an exclusive women’s workshop with Reyna Simnegar. We will begin the evening with Persian music, wine, and appetizers followed by a special Purim-themed cooking demonstration in a private kosher kitchen. Your generous donation to the Vilna Shul will bring you the opportunity to taste and enjoy generous portions of this full Persian dinner paired with wine and dessert. Bring your appetites and your questions for Reyna, whose background is every bit as interesting as her delicious dishes. Don’t miss this opportunity to support the Vilna and discover how you can make your next Purim (or any) celebration one for the ages!

About Our Chef:

Reyna Simnegar is the author of Persian Food from the Non-Persian Bride which, alongside its delectable journey through easy to understand Persian Jewish cuisine, also shares the story of her journey to Jewish life while growing up in Venezuela. Reyna learned about her Jewish Marrano heritage at a young age and it set her on a path of self-discovery, creativity, and a fulfilling life in the United States with her husband and five boys in nearby Brookline, Massachusetts.
